Today the Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD) announced grants awarded to local Water Utilities in Burleson and Milam Counties. The District awarded five grants totaling approximately $1,000,000 for programs to conserve groundwater and has awarded approximately $14.55 million since 2006. At the February 11, 2020 Board Meeting, Post Oak Savannah GCD welcomed Mrs. Dana McClaren as the new Board Member representing Agriculture interests from Milam County. Mrs. McClaren is a resident of Milam County and attended the University of North Texas graduating with a B.B.A. in Marketing in 1981. She then attended Texas Tech University
